I am now returning home after being in Charleston, SC for a weekend! I stayed in the Isle of Palms Wild Dunes Resort and it was so nice! The scenery was amazing and everything was super peaceful and relaxing! The beach house I stayed in had an amazing bath soap that was made with oatmeal to be used as a soap scrub! Using it was like taking a shower with a back scratcher; it felt soooo good. haha I’m not sure where you could get it because it is a hotel brand, but it was called Destination Oatmeal Bath Bar. However, I did find it on this site: http://www.gilchristsoames.com/view_product/1842/537/Destination_Earth_Jet_Settrade%3B_Travel_Pack and it comes in a package with other shower products for $10! Now I am obsessed with finding another soap scrub that will compare to the one from the resort. Here is what I’ve found so far!
Soap Scrubs from Lush! (The descriptions are from the website.)
Ideal for sensitive skin; irresistible to everyone else. Oats are soothing for the skin, while orange juice is refreshing. Rise and shine with some delicious porridge. When the oats mix with hot water, they create a calming milk that softens your entire body. The oatmeal also exfoliates your skin and scrubs the dirt away.
Sugar Babe is a gentle alternative to the intensity of Sugar Scrub. It’s scented with perfume made from ylang flowers and mimosa blossom, so that we can all smell sensational, too. When applied topically, coconut oil can reduce the symptoms associated with psoriasis and eczema, as it gives a natural balance to the skin.
Sea Vegetable Soap- Lime, lavender, and seaweed soap $7.95- 3.5oz
Brimstone is a deeply fragrant, hardcore body scrub, with natural sulphur to condition the skin and keep it clear of problems. Jasmine helps to cover the potent smell of sulphur with a beautiful, floral fragrance.
If you have any recommendations for good exfoliating soap scrubs then please let me know! I would love to try them! ❤
