As you all probably know, a while ago Almay came out with the Intense i-color Powder Shadows which are eyeshadow trios customized for your specific eye color. However, I personally have not tried these products. They would be good to try if you like having eyeshadows designed to bring out your natural eye color!

Navy blue eyeshadow bring out my medium brown eyes like nothing else, deep forest green comes second, then dark browns, rosy-browns…shimmery neutrals help bring out brown eyes too. Purple-toned colors do nothing for me (unless it is a very deep purple, maybe)…I think purples and plums look best on hazel eyes and golden brown eyes…Rihanna has hazel eyes and Beyonce has golden brown eyes. Dark olive green and rusty, ‘autumn’ shades looks great on hazel eyes and light-brown eyes too. Green eyes are best brought out by pinkish, mauve-y and reddish tones (like the colors in Urban Decay’s Naked 3 palette) or green eyeshadows that are darker than their eye color. Blue eyes will be brought out by soft, warm browns, golden browns, or smoky blue eyeshadows that are darker than the blue of their eyes. I agree that blue eyes can wear smoky eyes quite well (especially with cool-blue eyes or grey-blue eyes), as the dark smokiness will contrast against their sparkling light eyes. Copper is gorgeous for blue-green eyes. Very dark brown eyes can wear any eye color!
