We are now in the midst of Spring going into Summer which means it’s MUSIC FESTIVAL time!! I went to BUKU Music Festival in New Orleans on March 8-9 & have to say it was one of the best weekends of my life! I had so much fun, danced a ton, & got to see so many great artists perform! There really was an aura of PLUR (Peace, Love Unity, & Respect) at the festival & it was an amazing experience. If you have not been to a music festival, you should definitely go to at least one! Here is what I wore on both days of the festival. Also, check out my list of favorite artists from BUKU (some are people I saw perform live and some are people I just love)!

Peacock Earrings: Rue21
Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters
[This was my first music festival so I will be sure to put some flowers in my hair next time and add more colors 🙂 ]
Recommended Artists from Day 1:
– Flux Pavilion
– ZEDD (big fan of them!)
– Sander Van Doorn
For the second day, I wore a black fringe top over a white cami. I absolutely love this shirt & it is so fun to dance in! I also wore the jean shorts & shoes from the day before. On this day we decided to bring out the colors & did a lot of body painting. On my arm I accidentally messed up and drew “Peace, Love, & Peace” haha but it’s all good. On my face I just had a nice colorful blend of patterns.
Outfit-Top: Can’t remember which department store (sorry!), Cami: Aeropostale, Shorts: Forever21, Shoes: Sears, Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters
Recommended Artists from Day 2: Iconic Pop, Flosstradamus (amazing!), Kendrick Lamar (He was awesome live!!), Passion Pitt, Starfucker, Calvin Harris, STS9, Dillon Francis
And here are some more great pics just to close out the post. 🙂

Like I said, I loved my first music festival & can not wait to go to more! Definitely go to one if you have the chance! Feel free to leave me comments about my outfits, about musical artists, or anything you want!
Stay tuned for Part 2 of this post which will overview the hair chalk that we used at the festival!
