REVIEW: Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue + Travalo Tutorial

Hello everyone! I finally purchased a perfume that I have been wanting for a two years now! It is the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette! This is a classic so I would not be surprised if many of you already have this! It has notes of Sicilian Citron, Bluebell, Granny Smith Apple, Jasmine Sambac, Bamboo, White Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, and Musk. I think that if the word “expensive” had a smell, it would smell like this perfume! It is perfect for a day at work or a night out on the town! It lasts for a long time and even though it is a called an “eau de toilette”, I think it is just as strong as an “eau de parfum”. For prices, the 0.8 oz retails for $50 and the 1.6 oz size retails for $72 at Sephora.

Alright, so if you guys travel at all during the year, I think you should heavily consider getting a Travalo! This is a “refillable spray perfume bottle”. It retails for $19 but can be found for just $9 on Amazon or $5 at TJ Maxx! You can also find them in a variety of colors!

It is the perfect size to bring with you on a trip if your perfume bottle is over the size limit. This would also be a fantastic gift to give a friend or anyone who is into perfume/ cologne!

To fill your Travalo, just follow these three easy steps below!

1) First, take the cap off your perfume (don’t worry, it’ll go back on!). 2) Next place the Travalo directly on the perfume.

3) Push down on the perfume and watch the Travalo fill up! If it doesn’t get full, you can move the Travalo up and down a few times (as if you’re pumping it) and it will fill up! I get mine to be about 90% full before I stop it.

Voila! You’re Travalo is full & ready to be thrown into your bag! Also these tubes may look small, but it definitely carries enough perfume to last you weeks!
I definitely recommend both of these products so be sure to try them!
