And lastly, here are some quotes from my friends:

    • “I just want something that shows love.”
    • “Anything not cheesy. The simpler the better.”
    • “I would say no to clothes unless you really know the person.”
    • “Gifts with a personal touch that are a tad quirky that also have a personal experience involved. If it’s someone who is close to me more along the lines of them making me some sort of weird food while I’m with them and enjoying it (homemade pizza or pancakes in the shape of a heart).”
    • “I would say get them a gift that identifies with their unique good qualities. For ex. I would want something for music or cooking because I’m good at those. It makes it a complement as well as a gift.”
    • “Anything with a semblance of thought that means I get to spend time with the gift giver and do something I like.”
    • Clothes- “something you wouldn’t buy for yourself, something you think I’d look good in.”
    • “I’ve always been sold on anything that I can use consistently or makes my life a little easier (no matter how big or small an investment is)”
    • “Food is a no brainer. Making an awesome dessert or meal that caters to what someone usually likes is great. Like I eat pretty healthy but obviously don’t only want bland food, if a girl made me a delicious dinner that also met my dietary needs, it would mean more. There’s a lot of consideration and a little more effort in that.”
    • “Cards are the best lol”
    • “Something special that I supposed a friend wouldn’t necessarily think of. For example I received a nice special edition book from a series that I really like as one birthday present.”
    • “I personally like gifts that took a lot of thought. I don’t care about the $$ amount. Something that has to do with my hobbies or interests. I really hate generic gifts that anyone could have got!”

Thank you to all of my friends for your help! I hope this post was helpful to everyone!
