Fall is amongst us!! This is my favorite time of year and I can’t wait to be outdoors, going to football games, and just watching the leaves fall. I am collaborating with Catherine, writer of the blog CatBarFashion, to bring you our top 10 Fall Essentials! The first 5 will be on my blog and the other 5 will be on her blog so be sure to check out her post too! Catherine is beautiful and original and you should definitely follow her blog and instagram: @catbarfashion! Alright here are my 5 Fall Essentials!
1. Military Green Jacket
My green GAP jacket becomes my everyday jacket in the fall! It matches everything and makes it look like I put more effort into my outfits then I actually do. I love that the hood of this jacket is grey and reminds me of a hoodie.
2.Cowgirl Ankle Booties
I had to refrain from wearing these everyday when I first got them. Lol I feel like they are the perfect transitional piece for Fall because they match everything and go perfectly with shorts, skirts and sweater dresses. I also love the side braid on these boots- the perfect touch of detail! My pair are from AMI Clubwear ($22) but you can find similar ones here and here.
3.Hikari Lip Gloss in “Merlot”
I’m all about berry colors in the Fall. I think they are the perfect change up from red lips but also not quite as daring as dark winter lips. This Hikari lipgloss ($13) is super pigmented and not overly sticky. I use it for business casual events, going shopping, and going out. I’ve never been a lipgloss person so that tells you something when I speak highly of this one.
4. Conair Infiniti Wand
This Conair Wand has been my favorite curling iron for four years! With colder weather I can finally take my hair out of the ponytail and style it! I love that the curls this wand creates hold throughout the day and on to the next day! See my full review of it here.
5. Leinenkugel’s Harvest Patch Shandy
If you love pumpkin drinks and you’re over 21, then you’re going to love this pumpkin shandy! My friend Harry and I discovered this last month and we’ve already repurchased it. This is perfect for tailgates or for just sitting on your front porch with friends and tastes almost like pumpkin pie.
I hope you enjoyed my Fall essentials! Don’t forget to see part two of the post on Catherine’s blog (click here)! Leave your Fall favorites in the comments below!
