REVIEW: Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Collection

DSC09810DSC09815How’s everyone’s Thursday’s going? Mine’s been pretty easy going except for the fact that I have the GRE tomorrow (ah!). I can’t wait to get it over. Anywho, I’m excited to be reviewing the Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Collection for you today! You can find this collection at your local Ulta or Target! I’m always looking for ways to keep my hair healthy and shiny and I’ve been loving this collection! Hask describes Monoi oil as:

For thousands of years, beautiful & exotic Polynesian women have used monoi oil—pure coconut oil infused with Tahitian gardenias—to pamper & protect their hair from the harsh effects of sun, wind & sea. Our super-moisturizing Monoi Coconut Oil products are lightweight and fast-absorbing, leaving hair silky soft, easy to manage, & radiantly renewed.

Here’s what I thought of each product:

HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Shampoo & Conditioner– $5.99/ea-This shampoo and conditioner smell amazing- it’s the perfect tropical coconut smell! I love that it makes my hair feel healthy, voluminous, and makes my hair not get oily for a longer period of time then my last shampoo & conditioner (which I actually threw out since I like this one way more)!

HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shine Hair Oil– $1.99– I used this product on my damp hair and then used the blow drier afterwards! I found that it made my hair a little shinier and more conditioned that with just the conditioner alone. However, I wish it had more of an effect on my locks and made my hair more silky.

HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner$1.99– This mask is applied in the shower and left in hair for 10 minutes before being rinsed out. I love the way this makes my hair tangle free but also leaves it feeling full, healthy, and strong! Each packet also has enough product for 3-4 uses! Loved it!
