Hey everyone! I have been obsessed with having color back in my hair again! Since I lightened the ends of my hair, I really care about preserving the color and making it as vibrant as possible. Recently, I’ve been using the HASK Kalahari Melon Oil Color Protection Hair Care Collection and love the way my hair feels and looks! “Found in the African desert, the kalahari melon thrives by retaining moisture in the driest conditions” and the oil comes from this fruit! This entire line shields and replenishes hair and is made without sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol, and artificial colors. Here are the items in this line:
Kalahari Melon Oil Color Protection Shampoo & Conditioner
“This natural color-locking, damage-blocking powerhouse ingredient counteracts dry-out and fading, leaving hair nourished and shiny. With Color Shield Complex, cranberry and sunflower oils, this shampoo [and conditioner] delicately cleanses to help maintain long-lasting vibrant color.”I love that this set makes my hair go longer without being oily, retains the color, makes my hair feel strong and healthy (even though I had to bleach my hair to get this color), and smells so great!
Kalahari Melon Oil Color Protection Deep Conditioner
This deep conditioner, “is an ultra-restorative, hydrating treatment that will preserve and nurture color treated hair. Counteracts dry-out and fading, leaving hair soft and nourished while helping to maintain long-lasting vibrant color.” I love using this deep conditioner when I think my hair needs some extra moisture! I apply it once a week for 10 minutes in the shower after using the shampoo and conditioner!
Kalahari Melon Oil Color Protection Shine Treatment
“This lightweight, alcohol-free instantly absorbing oil provides hair with a radiant glow leaving no greasy residue. Kalahari melon oil, counteracts moisture loss and fading.” This treatment gives an awesome shine to my hair and I apply it to my hair once a week when my hair is damp.
These products are inexpensive and can be found on the HASK website, in Ulta, Target, and several grocery stores (see list here). I definitely recommend checking them out!
