So I originally requested to start my full time job on June 6th but got pushed back all the way to July 26th which in a way was actually a blessing. It gave me time to get to go on two trips that were far and awesome! The trip I went on the weekend before I started work was to Toronto with my parents! We started out by flying into Toronto and driving to Niagara Falls. Guys, it’s true, the Canada side really is more beautiful (and way bigger). The next day, we drove to Toronto and explored the city! I loved how large and urban this whole city was! Canadian cities have a certain beauty to them because you can see the European influence on certain structures as well as unique clean Canadian designs! I definitely feel very lucky to get to Canada two times within a month! (See my previous post about Victoria, BC, Canada here.) See where I went in Toronto below!
I’m going to go over what we did on each day but out of order>>
Mill Street Brewery in the Historic Distillery District
St. Lawrence Market
Ferry ride to Centre Island where we got amazing views! (Buy your tickets online to save time!)
Waterfront Night Market– This is only one weekend each year! You can try so many yummy asian meals, treats, and get bubble tea too!
Opening weekend of the Roger’s Cup!
Area by the CN Tower
We actually started our trip at Niagara Falls on the Canada side- my was it beautiful! (And the Canada side really is prettier.)
At the hotel, there was also a restaurant called The Keg Steakhouse where you had a great view of the Falls!
On certain nights (I believe Wedn and Fri in the summer), there are fire works at night!
This was definitely a trip to remember! Thanks for reaching this point in the post! New posts will be every Monday! 🙂
