Even though it doesn’t always feel like it in Georgia, Fall time is officially here!! This is my favorite season and since I’ve been going between NYC and Georgia, I’ve had a lot of fun layering together pieces to fit the cooling weather! I’m excited to share with you all my favorite trend of the season! But before I do that- I wanted to introduce my friend Joseph, who writes the blog: The Consulting Lifestyle! He creates fun content, is really nice, and is always super well dressed! I met Joseph at work and I feel like he’s the only one who understands my difficulty of balancing a consulting job, being gone from home 4 out of 7 days a week, and maintaining a blog. I’m so glad we got to do this collab together and shoot with Kelley Raye who is a truly amazing photographer- she made us feel really comfortable and we had so much fun with her! (See her work here.) Head to Joseph’s post to see his favorite fall trend for guys: burgundy pants and boots. (Also, I’ve never collab-ed with a guy before so I told Kelley we need to make this as little like engagement photos as possible! LOL)
My favorite trend for girls this fall is the neck tie trend! This was all over the runway during NYFW. Neck tie blouses look amazing on their own and I personally love layering neck tie dresses under jackets like this leather coat! This trend is also perfect for an outfit to the office since it involves a high neckline.
I hope you all enjoy the pics in this collab! Big shoutout as well to my friend Alice Lee for doing my makeup for this shoot! She is so friendly and easy to work with (see her makeup artistry site here)!
I’m obsessed with all the pics in this post- Kelly Raye did an amazing job! Also, in case you were wondering, these pictures were shot at The Goat Farm Arts Center which was actually in the Hunger Games movies as District 12! When Kelley said we could shoot here, I immediately jumped on the opportunity! Definitely one of the coolest spaces I’ve ever shot in. I hope you all enjoyed this collab from Joseph and I! Leave your favorite fall trend in the comments!
