You know what one thing I’ve been really appreciative for lately is my girl gang. Girls are thoughtful, caring, fun, and just get me and I’m lucky to be surrounded by so many strong women everyday. I love seeing my friends take life by the horns and make it their own and support me when I do the same thing. I am partnering with Evian Spray today to bring you this post in the theme of celebrating your girl gang and besties!
I’m so excited to share this post today because I especially love the pictures in this post! These were taken at #hubday which is a day put together by The H Collective where creatives meetup all over the country in specific cities & collaborate! It was so fun to get to work with a mix of people while admiring & meeting others! Highly recommend signing up if you’re a interested! The majority of these pictures were taken by Hannah Turner (SO talented!) but the other photographers were also wonderful & are noted under specific photos! Because Valentine’s day is around the corner, I was inspired to put together this girly, red outfit which is cute & a perfect transition outfit from colder to warmer weather! Lastly, in the theme of Valentine’s Day, I put together some thoughts on being 24 & single at the bottom of this post since I haven’t shared many personal thoughts about a love life on my blog before! ❤

I am having a week where I am just feeling high on life. I am feeling so constantly inspired and genuinely excited. There is such a big difference between working hard because you have to and working hard because you are passionate about something and can’t wait to demonstrate that passion. I’ve talked to some of my friends before about how lucky I feel to get so excited and motivated about certain things (especially when they are work-related); I know there are plenty of other people out there that are still trying to find their passions or are just really not interested in the corporate world or working at all. The quote on my insta bio is “if your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough”. Getting to work towards my big dreams every day and feel like I’m making progress is a feeling that can’t be replaced. Hoping this feeling stays for a little while. 🙂 Continue reading

Hi everyone! Winter always calls for dressing in layers & I’ve found that it is also essential to have a blanket scarf because they add so much warmth! I got mine recently in my Stitchfix box & I’m obsessed (literally have been wearing it daily). When you’re going somewhere outside, you can wear the scarf around your neck, & then when you get inside, you can keep the scarf on but as a shaw to keep you warm. It’s the perfect accessory everyone needs. Also one random thing I wanted to add about this post is that I included 12 random facts about my current life at the end if you want to check that out. J
Since I work full time & it’s hard to find time to shoot in the winter with the sun setting so early, I was thrilled when ATL photographer Shawn Michael Craig said that he was open to shooting in the morning with me. It was so cold (under 40 degrees) but it was a blast shooting together! I am so impressed by how these pics turned out and definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a photographer! I’m excited to be partnering today with Tobi, a women’s apparel company, for another post (you can find the first one here). Somethings that I’ve been loving this fall are the colors maroon and deep red. When I saw this maxi skirt on Tobi’s site, I had to have it. I paired it with booties and this Tobi crocheted shirt and love how this outfit came out with a little boho flare! I find the slit to be a little high on the skirt but it can be paired with some spanx under or a pair of tights so that you don’t have to worry about it. I took these pictures in the park with my friends Isabella and Vino (he took the pics!) & after we had a little picnic in the park which made for an awesome evening!
Hey everyone! Two weekends ago, I had the opportunity of covering Imagine Music Festival as a media personnel for my Atlanta For The Young blog. I had such an awesome time shooting the photos with my friend Hannah Lozano (see her site here) and while we had some downtime, we also took some outfit pics! I went pretty simple for my outfit with a scalloped tank, shorts, & sneakers but added a statement necklace that I love! I also got my hair styled earlier in the day by Blo Dry Bar and thought it looked so good! If you live in Atlanta, then you should definitely check out their new location across from Ponce City Market! Hope you all like this simpler festival look!
