Hi everyone! Winter always calls for dressing in layers & I’ve found that it is also essential to have a blanket scarf because they add so much warmth! I got mine recently in my Stitchfix box & I’m obsessed (literally have been wearing it daily). When you’re going somewhere outside, you can wear the scarf around your neck, & then when you get inside, you can keep the scarf on but as a shaw to keep you warm. It’s the perfect accessory everyone needs. Also one random thing I wanted to add about this post is that I included 12 random facts about my current life at the end if you want to check that out. J

Since I work full time & it’s hard to find time to shoot in the winter with the sun setting so early, I was thrilled when ATL photographer Shawn Michael Craig said that he was open to shooting in the morning with me. It was so cold (under 40 degrees) but it was a blast shooting together! I am so impressed by how these pics turned out and definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a photographer!IMG_5631 Continue reading

Fall-Time Boho Ft. Tobi

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERATop (Also available in white!)| Skirt | Booties (similar one here) | Lip Stain (in shade “Crunk”)

I’m excited to be partnering today with Tobi, a women’s apparel company, for another post (you can find the first one here). Somethings that I’ve been loving this fall are the colors maroon and deep red. When I saw this maxi skirt on Tobi’s site, I had to have it. I paired it with booties and this Tobi crocheted shirt and love how this outfit came out with a little boho flare! I find the slit to be a little high on the skirt but it can be paired with some spanx under or a pair of tights so that you don’t have to worry about it. I took these pictures in the park with my friends Isabella and Vino (he took the pics!) & after we had a little picnic in the park which made for an awesome evening!

Hey everyone! Two weekends ago, I had the opportunity of covering Imagine Music Festival as a media personnel for my Atlanta For The Young blog. I had such an awesome time shooting the photos with my friend Hannah Lozano (see her site here) and while we had some downtime, we also took some outfit pics! I went pretty simple for my outfit with a scalloped tank, shorts, & sneakers but added a statement necklace that I love! I also got my hair styled earlier in the day by Blo Dry Bar and thought it looked so good! If you live in Atlanta, then you should definitely check out their new location across from Ponce City Market! Hope you all like this simpler festival look!DSC_9461.jpg

Lilacs & Burgundy

IMG_6637Dress (on sale!) | Boots (similar one) | Hat (similar one) | Foundation | Lip (in “Beetroot”)

Happy Saturday friends! Can you guys believe it’s September?? I feel like June-August has been a complete blur but I slowly but surely getting excited for Fall! This transitional summer to fall look that I put together can be easily adjusted for colder weather by throwing on a sweater or a denim jacket (denim is big this fall!).  I love that this outfit is colorful but also fun with shoulder cut outs and an open back. ALSO you all need to try my new favorite foundation. It lasts through the day without getting oily/ is mattifying and is what I wore to my bestie’s wedding- highly recommend. Special shout out goes to Morgan Hayes for shooting these photos with me! Check out her sight here. IMG_6639

Jumpsuits & Cocktails

KPMU6160.jpgJumpsuit | Purse (similar one here) | Heels | Lipstain (in shade 213)

Anytime I went shopping and saw a jumpsuit, I always thought that it’d look super weird on me. But a few weeks back, I was at Loft and really wanted to give this jumper a try because I’m a sucker for stripes. I have worn this to work and to casual settings and both times got a lot of compliments on it! The photos from this post are from when my friends and I went to Whiskey Blue in Buckhead for some cocktails! Since it’s more of an upscale bar, this jumpsuit was the perfect thing to wear because it felt sophisticated but still really comfortable. It does have a tendency to wrinkle, so I just steamed it twice before leaving the house. I also recently got these heels in the photos and I lovee the way they look! They’re comfortable too as long as you don’t go bar hopping in them and do a ton of walking (like I did after Whiskey Blue lol).

New tip: If you don’t have time for a pedicure before wearing heels like these, I recently discovered feet masks (linked here) and they work incredibly! Had 100% confidence in my feet after using one.

Festival Inspired Weekend Look!

Who else has major FOMO after seeing all the Coachella photos on Instagram? * Raises hand *. One of my friends and I have said that we were going to go for the last three years but it keeps not happening so every time the pics show up on my feed from Coachella, I so badly wish I was there! I always love the bohemian-themed casual outfits that all my favorite bloggers and celebrities post. I took those looks as my inspiration for this wearable weekend look featuring denim, embroidery, and jewels! I was inspired to wear my biggest necklace by fashion blogger Paola Alberdi’s Coachella look here. My next post is going to feature a festival look but I wanted to focus this post on a look that you could wear out with the girls!IMG_3073
