Something I’ve grown more and more thankful for these last few weeks is my girl squad. This past month has been nothing short of challenging and I’m so lucky that I have such a strong support system. Usually people share the good and bad of life with a few friends but I’m lucky I gave a whole group of girls to share that with. Surround yourself with people that make you laugh, are your cheerleaders, and push you to be better. Life is so much better that way.

This past weekend me and the gals went up to North Georgia to try out some of the vineyards (I reviewed them at the bottom of the post)! It was so beautiful to see all the greenery and the mountains. For the trip, I knew I wanted to be comfortable so I went with this new maxi and sandals. This outfit is one that anyone can pull off and you can’t help but be confident in it! I added a belt to the dress to cinch the waist and tied the hanging piece in a knot- super cute! For makeup I incorporated a natural look with acne-healing foundation, eyeliner, and my new favorite lipstick (all linked above). Just wanted to clarify one thing- in the picture above, my friend Natasha is not stepping on my foot (LOL), her foot is hanging and mine is under it.

Tea Time Featuring Evian Spray

Tipple + Rose-11You know what one thing I’ve been really appreciative for lately is my girl gang. Girls are thoughtful, caring, fun, and just get me and I’m lucky to be surrounded by so many strong women everyday. I love seeing my friends take life by the horns and make it their own and support me when I do the same thing. I am partnering with Evian Spray today to bring you this post in the theme of celebrating your girl gang and besties!

Valentine’s Red

_MG_9889Sweater (similar one) | Dress (similar one) | Heels (similar one) | Bookbag&Patches | Lipstain

I’m so excited to share this post today because I especially love the pictures in this post! These were taken at #hubday which is a day put together by The H Collective where creatives meetup all over the country in specific cities & collaborate! It was so fun to get to work with a mix of people while admiring & meeting others! Highly recommend signing up if you’re a interested! The majority of these pictures were taken by Hannah Turner (SO talented!) but the other photographers were also wonderful & are noted under specific photos! Because Valentine’s day is around the corner, I was inspired to put together this girly, red outfit which is cute & a perfect transition outfit from colder to warmer weather! Lastly, in the theme of Valentine’s Day, I put together some thoughts on being 24 & single at the bottom of this post since I haven’t shared many personal thoughts about a love life on my blog before! ❤

The Fluffy Coat of my Dreams

DSC_0431Coat (comes in white too!) | Scarf  (similar one here & here)| Dress (similar one) | Earrings | Purse (Major sale!) | Tights | Boots (similar one)| Lipstain (in “Crunk”)

I am having a week where I am just feeling high on life. I am feeling so constantly inspired and genuinely excited. There is such a big difference between working hard because you have to and working hard because you are passionate about something and can’t wait to demonstrate that passion. I’ve talked to some of my friends before about how lucky I feel to get so excited and motivated about certain things (especially when they are work-related); I know there are plenty of other people out there that are still trying to find their passions or are just really not interested in the corporate world or working at all. The quote on my insta bio is “if your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough”. Getting to work towards my big dreams every day and feel like I’m making progress is a feeling that can’t be replaced. Hoping this feeling stays for a little while. 🙂DSC_0326.jpg Continue reading

Blanket Scarves & Christmas Lights

IMG_5597Dress | Leather Jacket (similar one here)| Scarf (in green here, in pink & blue here) | Purse (50% off!) | Boots (similar one here) | Tights | Lipstain (Shade: “Crunk”)

Hi everyone! Winter always calls for dressing in layers & I’ve found that it is also essential to have a blanket scarf because they add so much warmth! I got mine recently in my Stitchfix box & I’m obsessed (literally have been wearing it daily). When you’re going somewhere outside, you can wear the scarf around your neck, & then when you get inside, you can keep the scarf on but as a shaw to keep you warm. It’s the perfect accessory everyone needs. Also one random thing I wanted to add about this post is that I included 12 random facts about my current life at the end if you want to check that out. J

Since I work full time & it’s hard to find time to shoot in the winter with the sun setting so early, I was thrilled when ATL photographer Shawn Michael Craig said that he was open to shooting in the morning with me. It was so cold (under 40 degrees) but it was a blast shooting together! I am so impressed by how these pics turned out and definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a photographer!IMG_5631 Continue reading

Fall-Time Boho Ft. Tobi

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERATop (Also available in white!)| Skirt | Booties (similar one here) | Lip Stain (in shade “Crunk”)

I’m excited to be partnering today with Tobi, a women’s apparel company, for another post (you can find the first one here). Somethings that I’ve been loving this fall are the colors maroon and deep red. When I saw this maxi skirt on Tobi’s site, I had to have it. I paired it with booties and this Tobi crocheted shirt and love how this outfit came out with a little boho flare! I find the slit to be a little high on the skirt but it can be paired with some spanx under or a pair of tights so that you don’t have to worry about it. I took these pictures in the park with my friends Isabella and Vino (he took the pics!) & after we had a little picnic in the park which made for an awesome evening!
