Hey everyone! Two weekends ago, I had the opportunity of covering Imagine Music Festival as a media personnel for my Atlanta For The Young blog. I had such an awesome time shooting the photos with my friend Hannah Lozano (see her site here) and while we had some downtime, we also took some outfit pics! I went pretty simple for my outfit with a scalloped tank, shorts, & sneakers but added a statement necklace that I love! I also got my hair styled earlier in the day by Blo Dry Bar and thought it looked so good! If you live in Atlanta, then you should definitely check out their new location across from Ponce City Market! Hope you all like this simpler festival look!
Happy Saturday friends! Can you guys believe it’s September?? I feel like June-August has been a complete blur but I slowly but surely getting excited for Fall! This transitional summer to fall look that I put together can be easily adjusted for colder weather by throwing on a sweater or a denim jacket (denim is big this fall!). I love that this outfit is colorful but also fun with shoulder cut outs and an open back. ALSO you all need to try my new favorite foundation. It lasts through the day without getting oily/ is mattifying and is what I wore to my bestie’s wedding- highly recommend. Special shout out goes to Morgan Hayes for shooting these photos with me! Check out her sight here.
Anytime I went shopping and saw a jumpsuit, I always thought that it’d look super weird on me. But a few weeks back, I was at Loft and really wanted to give this jumper a try because I’m a sucker for stripes. I have worn this to work and to casual settings and both times got a lot of compliments on it! The photos from this post are from when my friends and I went to Whiskey Blue in Buckhead for some cocktails! Since it’s more of an upscale bar, this jumpsuit was the perfect thing to wear because it felt sophisticated but still really comfortable. It does have a tendency to wrinkle, so I just steamed it twice before leaving the house. I also recently got these heels in the photos and I lovee the way they look! They’re comfortable too as long as you don’t go bar hopping in them and do a ton of walking (like I did after Whiskey Blue lol).
New tip: If you don’t have time for a pedicure before wearing heels like these, I recently discovered feet masks (linked here) and they work incredibly! Had 100% confidence in my feet after using one.
Who else has major FOMO after seeing all the Coachella photos on Instagram? * Raises hand *. One of my friends and I have said that we were going to go for the last three years but it keeps not happening so every time the pics show up on my feed from Coachella, I so badly wish I was there! I always love the bohemian-themed casual outfits that all my favorite bloggers and celebrities post. I took those looks as my inspiration for this wearable weekend look featuring denim, embroidery, and jewels! I was inspired to wear my biggest necklace by fashion blogger Paola Alberdi’s Coachella look here. My next post is going to feature a festival look but I wanted to focus this post on a look that you could wear out with the girls!
Some of my favorite and most comfy outfits to wear are ones that involve layering a cropped blouse or sweater over a dress (see previous post here and here). I’ve done it again but this time with an outfit that’d work for either day or night and I love it! I got this top at Zara last month for New York fashion week and have just found myself wearing it constantly. I’ve been really into chokers as well so this blouse just screamed my name. The boots are also from Zara and are so comfortable- I don’t even feel the heel! I felt so chic with this outfit while walking through midtown!
For this post, I’m collaborating with local Atlanta photographer Angeline Danyelle! I really enjoyed working with her, loved that she was open to any ideas of how I wanted to shoot, and think that she’s really talented! Loved the way these pics turned out! Be sure to check out her photography site here. We shot at the High Museum in Atlanta! Continue reading
Happy fall everybody! The other day I was invited to a cocktail making class in midtown Atlanta at Grain Bar so my friend Natasha & I dressed up and went! In this post you’ll see me style this outfit with two jackets- the black one for chilly weather and the green one for cold weather. This outfit was mainly neutral so it went perfectly with both jackets! I love whenever I have the chance to pull out my lace leggings so for this outfit I grabbed my burgundy dress and layered a gray sweater over it- layering like this is one of my secrets for when I don’t want to wear pants but don’t have that many skirts. Lol Also, whenever I wear glasses, I’ve been rocking these ones from Karoo– I’m a brand ambassador for them and you can find their eyewear at Ponce City Market! If you want to see some of the treats we enjoyed at the cocktail class, see them at the end of this post!
