Sweater Weather in SF (+Food Recommendations)

Guys I am having a serious itch for travel. I feel like I sound so bratty when I say I miss going on a plane because it’s only really been a month.. Lol but it’s different when you’re previously used to flying every week. I’ve been going back through some old travel pics and remembered that I was waiting to post about this outfit I wore a few months ago in SF until it became more fall-like in the South. I was so comfy wearing this loose sweater, skinny jeans, & sneakers while exploring the Mission and Dolores Park. My friends even tricked me into urban hiking in this outfit when we climbed up to Corona Heights Summit (the view was totally worth it). See what spots I explored on this trip at the bottom of the post. Shout out to my friends Neel, Mariana, and Isabella for shooting these pics!

Alot happened yesterday & today so blogging is the perfect distraction. If you saw my last post, then you know that in July I took a last minute trip to LA to visit my roomie, Isabella, who was on a project out there! Every time I travel, I try to plan as efficiently as possible & do that through mapping everything I want to do out on My Maps (by Google)- you can also share the map with your friends to include places they want to go! Here is everything we did in a little over 3 days!

Stripes & Shades (LA part 1)

DSC05415Dress | Purse (similar one here or here in blue) | Sandals | Lipstick  (in the shade “Made you Pink”)

I can’t seem to stay away from California. I love it so much and have been fortunate enough to visit LA twice and San Francisco this year. These photos were shot on my second trip to LA a month ago when I last minute booked a flight to meet up with my roommate, Isabella, who was on a project in LA. We had so much fun and I finally hit a ton of spots that I had been meaning to (part 2 of this post will be about what we actually did). I was surprised at how hot it got while we were in LA (85+ degrees) so I’m thankful I wore a lightweight dress the day we went to LACMA. If you’re ever in the area, definitely check it out- the museum is huge! Also, since I always try to be comfortable when exploring, these new sandals were perfect for getting me through the day. Leave me your favorite LA spots in the comments below bc I will go back!

2 Summer Outfits for Savannah, GA

One of the trips I took recently, that I meant to post about earlier, was a trip with my friend Britanny to Savannah, GA! Savannah is an adorable, old-style southern town. It’s known for things like colorful historic homes, trees covered in Spanish moss, southern cooking/ seafood, a huge St. Paddy’s day celebration, and the filming of Forrest Gump. Since Southern GA gets really hot in the summer, I sported two outfits in Savannah that both had spaghetti straps and were lightweight. Because we did a lot of walking around as well, I made sure to wear comfy clothes & sported sneakers & flat sandals. Check out what we did there!

Twirling in Florals (NYC)

I’ve been so excited to be back in Manhattan this week after a month of being away (since I changed work projects and my new client’s not in NYC). There’s just something special about this city that makes me want to stay outside for an extra minute or to go to one more new place I’ve never been. One thing I’ve always loved is the way that people dress here and look effortlessly stylish. An outfit that’s really easy in my opinion to feel confident in is a maxi dress. For this particular look, I paired mine over a royal blue scoop tee and added some dainty accessories! P.S. I also flew with this maxi dress on one time and it was so incredibly comfortable- definitely recommend doing it if you have plans in the city as soon as you fly in like I often do!_DSC6274Edited Continue reading

10 Things I Will Miss About NYC

_DSC6640Edited_DSC6779EditedDress | Sneakers | Necklace |Lipstick | Watch | Bookbag | Pom Pom

It is so crazy to me that it’s my last week in New York. I’ve been working here for the last 10 months which basically means I’ve been flying from Atlanta or another city into NYC every week for almost a year. Although I’m feeling  a lot of mixed emotions, many of you know that New York City is my favorite city and there are so many things that I’m going to miss. I created a list of 10 things I’m going to miss the most and have included it at the end of this post!

Before I get into that, I’ve been wanting to create this post for a while of a casual spring/ summer outfit that’s super comfortable and perfect for exploring the city! NYC can be hot and tiring to walk in so my favorite thing to wear is a dress and sneakers- it’s so effortless! I also just got this bookbag a few weeks ago and have been eye-ing for years! It is so perfect for being out in the daytime because it fits your wallet, camera, water bottle, and anything you might buy during the day! I shot these pictures with photographer, Nick Avloshenko from the Craze app and love the way they turned out!_DSC6652Edited
