Even though I’m definitely a city girl, it’s still so nice to get out to nature/ the woods every once in a while! This past weekend, my friend Hannah (who is such a talented photographer) and I went to Historic Banning Mills which is an hour southwest of ATL! We had so much fun staying in a treehouse (pics of the inside at the end), dining at the lodge, and doing a three hour zipline tour (they have the Guiness World Record for the longest zipline course)! Definitely recommend it and a big thank you goes out to Historic Banning Mills for hosting us! For my outfit, I wanted to be both cute and comfortable so my go-to is colored layers over leggings! Check out the post for my outfit details and more photos of the getaway! Continue reading
I’m currently in the car on the way back from Louisville and am trying to get through writing this blog post without getting car sick. Lol My family occasionally takes trips to Louisville to reunite/ visit my older brother and it’s always nice to see everyone! Pretty much every time I am at my brother’s, I make sure to take some pics with his adorable pup, Snow because she is the cutest. On this weekend, it was around 40 degrees out and I stayed warm with my pink fluffy coat. I love it so much as it’s so cozy and always gets a lot of compliments! I always feel a little extra in it but in a good way and I always joke that it borderline looks like a robe! Definitely recommend getting one. 🙂 Read below to see more outfit pics and to see where we went out to eat!
I’m so excited to share this post today because I especially love the pictures in this post! These were taken at #hubday which is a day put together by The H Collective where creatives meetup all over the country in specific cities & collaborate! It was so fun to get to work with a mix of people while admiring & meeting others! Highly recommend signing up if you’re a interested! The majority of these pictures were taken by Hannah Turner (SO talented!) but the other photographers were also wonderful & are noted under specific photos! Because Valentine’s day is around the corner, I was inspired to put together this girly, red outfit which is cute & a perfect transition outfit from colder to warmer weather! Lastly, in the theme of Valentine’s Day, I put together some thoughts on being 24 & single at the bottom of this post since I haven’t shared many personal thoughts about a love life on my blog before! ❤

I am having a week where I am just feeling high on life. I am feeling so constantly inspired and genuinely excited. There is such a big difference between working hard because you have to and working hard because you are passionate about something and can’t wait to demonstrate that passion. I’ve talked to some of my friends before about how lucky I feel to get so excited and motivated about certain things (especially when they are work-related); I know there are plenty of other people out there that are still trying to find their passions or are just really not interested in the corporate world or working at all. The quote on my insta bio is “if your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough”. Getting to work towards my big dreams every day and feel like I’m making progress is a feeling that can’t be replaced. Hoping this feeling stays for a little while. 🙂 Continue reading

Hi everyone! Winter always calls for dressing in layers & I’ve found that it is also essential to have a blanket scarf because they add so much warmth! I got mine recently in my Stitchfix box & I’m obsessed (literally have been wearing it daily). When you’re going somewhere outside, you can wear the scarf around your neck, & then when you get inside, you can keep the scarf on but as a shaw to keep you warm. It’s the perfect accessory everyone needs. Also one random thing I wanted to add about this post is that I included 12 random facts about my current life at the end if you want to check that out. J
Since I work full time & it’s hard to find time to shoot in the winter with the sun setting so early, I was thrilled when ATL photographer Shawn Michael Craig said that he was open to shooting in the morning with me. It was so cold (under 40 degrees) but it was a blast shooting together! I am so impressed by how these pics turned out and definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a photographer! Hi everyone! If you’ve been following me on Instagram, then you know that I recently returned from a trip to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Tianjin, China! I do long flights every few years to China to visit family in addition to flights across the US and to Europe (you could say I’m pretty familiar with long flights). On my flight from Beijing to my connection in Detroit (14 hours long), I realized that I had brought specific items with me to get through the flight easily and comfortably. I wanted to do a guide to share those with you. Also! Since it’s the holiday season, I wanted to share some gift ideas for if you have a friend or family member in your life that travels frequently!
