Even though I’m definitely a city girl, it’s still so nice to get out to nature/ the woods every once in a while! This past weekend, my friend Hannah (who is such a talented photographer) and I went to Historic Banning Mills which is an hour southwest of ATL! We had so much fun staying in a treehouse (pics of the inside at the end), dining at the lodge, and doing a three hour zipline tour (they have the Guiness World Record for the longest zipline course)! Definitely recommend it and a big thank you goes out to Historic Banning Mills for hosting us! For my outfit, I wanted to be both cute and comfortable so my go-to is colored layers over leggings! Check out the post for my outfit details and more photos of the getaway! Continue reading
Glacier National Park was too pretty. Between the iced covered mountain tops, the lakes, valleys, etc. there was so much to see. On this chilly day, I knew we might be doing a little hiking so my main focus of my outfit was comfort. I went with basically the softest shirt I own (my best friend bought the exact same one too) and leggings which were perfect for walking around and sitting in the car as we drove around parts of the park. I have been in love with layering pieces lately and I loved that this outfit looked very relaxed. I visited Glacier National Park on a roadtrip with my parents from Atlanta to Seattle. We made a lot of stops including some in Canada (see post here). If you’re ever in Montana, be sure to check out this beautiful national park! Continue reading
Something I have been getting SO much use out of this season is my tribal leggings! It’s so easy to make an outfit out of these because all I have do is throw a black sweater and combat boots on! I’ve always been obsessed with tribal pattern clothing and love the colors on this particular pair I got at Marshalls! My leggings are also made from a suede-like material so they are mega-comfy (I actually slept in this outfit before taking these photographs lol)! Continue reading
If you saw my last post (linked here), then you know that my friend Harry invited a lot of people and I to his cabin in Elberton, GA for the weekend! It was great to make new friends, tell stories around the fire, and go on walks through the woods. I was curious to see what guys wear for cabin weekend so that’s how the idea for this post came about! I hope this gives you ideas of what to pack for your own trip if you’re going to the woods or mountains soon! Shout out to all the studs who let me take their photograph for this post! Hey everyone! This weekend was a three day weekend due to MLK day and my friend Harry invited a lot of people up to his cabin in Elberton, GA for the weekend! It was really fun to meet a lot of people, sit by the fire, and walk through the woods! My friend Rachel and I decided to snap some photos of the outfit so you can see what we wore while at the cabin!
